My dog stiffened, trembled, made sounds, then recovered quickly. Seizure?

my dogs legs stiffened and went over his head, he trembled and made gutteral sounds, lasted a couple minutes. after about 15 minutes, he was playing and being silly. Pet's info: Dog | Papillon | Male | neutered | 7 years and 2 months old | 9 lbs

Hello! Sounds like Roger may have had a seizure! I would suggest calling your vet to let them know. They might recommend that he comes in to be examined. If it was indeed a seizure, and they are happening regularly, dogs are often put on medication to control the seizures. Blood tests are often recommended as well. If it happens again, try to record the event (ie video), so that you can show your vet what you are seeing! Best of luck with Roger!
