Can my dog get lung cancer from brief secondhand smoke exposure?

My bruno had seen second hand smoke twice or thrice since his birth he once was with me when my friend smoking 8 months back and he faced second hand smoke again today so my question is can he get lung cancer in future ? Or should I go for X-ray he has no cough no sneeze nothing he is active and is eating well playing well but I want to protect him from lung cancer he sometime meet smokers on walk as people passes by us on walk while smoking so can that also cause lung cancer in future later ?

I would not go for an x-ray with Bruno if there is no coughing or sneezing, he is eating well, and behaving normally. As I said in my first response to your question, being exposed to secondhand smoke twice or three time in his life is not a concern, and would not be enough to cause lung cancer. He would need to be exposed to high levels of environmental tobacco smoke, such as being in a small room with someone who smokes multiple times daily, in order to be at risk of developing lung cancer. Passing by people smoking while on a walk outside will not be enough exposure to cause Bruno lung cancer, so you have no need to worry :-)
