My kitten was just neutered. What if he's in pain without meds?

I just got my kitten neutered today. Is there anything i can do if he looks like he is in pain. The vet did not give me any pain meds and i dont want to hurt him. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 7 months and 12 days old

Do not give Buster any pain medicines for humans, they are toxic to cats. Give him lots of TLC if he wants it. If he still appears in pain tomorrow morning, give your vet a call and ask whether you can have some pain medicine for him. Usually we give toms an injection of a pain killer that should last for 24 hrs and do not give pain medicine to take home. So Buster may have received pain medicine and is maybe still feeling uncomfortable from the anesthesia.
