We have a white cat whose fur is turning yellow her skin is showing through from scratch ing she does not look right. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years old

Hello. I am sorry Petal is so itchy. Yellowing fur can be due to oil and pus and debris from the skin staining the fur, and this would be related to the scratching. I would check Petal for fleas and treat for this if they are present. (discuss with your vet what products are safe, as many over the counter products are unsafe). If she does not have fleas I would have her checked by your vet to determine the underlying cause of the scratching.
