Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 3 years and 1 month old | 66 lbs
My 3 year old lab has started limping on his back leg after resting after a walk, he is fine before the walk and during, this has been happening for 2 weeks He is a bit fat and he we received him neutered at at young age so we,re not sure he developed properly. He also limps after a long sleep, we are not sure this is general stiffness or dead leg, or maybe something worse Thanks for any help

He could have some arthritis in is joints, issue with his knee cap, partial cruciate tear, etc. You could put him on a joint supplement, like Dasuquin, and see if that helps. Otherwise, have your vet take a look at him. Your vet can take x-rays to help diagnose and then prescribe medications to help treat. He may need an anti-inflammatory and pain medications.

He may have some arthritis in his leg or a soft tissue injury. If the anti-inflammatory helped, then you could ask your vet to continue the medication. You could also ask your vet to take an x-ray to look for abnormalities.
