Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 4.4 lbs
I have a female chihuahua she is 4.4 lbs for the last couple days i would say maybe 3-5 days she has had a very poor appetite not only that but i have noticed she's not as active as she used to be. I took her to the vet and after multiple blood tests, xrays and other tests every single tests points out she is a healthy dog. My vet can't seem to find whats wrong. She has a high fever 103.4 farenheit to he exact, she has very hard labored breathing, poor appetite and she's been less active. Help!

Poor Bella! Her signs are certainly concerning. With a fever of unknown origin, labored breathing, lethargy and inappetence, she could have a number of conditions. You report that she has not been spayed, so there is a chance she has developed a pyometra (uterine infection). Other causes may include infectious diseases (viral or tick borne), cancer, pneumonia, etc. Despite her normal tests, she certainly isn't a healthy dog from the sounds of things! Bella should be re-examined by an ER vet tonight because her labored breathing makes me concerned that this could be life-threatening.
