Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 10 lbs
I have a 1 in a half year old cat named Zeus who has tiny little bumps and a couple scabs around his ears, inside his ear looks normal. No abnormal discharge. His left one is warm. But I don't know if it's from play fighting with his brother Apollo. But my 3 cats are indoor cats. We haven't changed their food recently ( goodlife) indoor formula. Non of the other kitty's have this problem only Zeus. Is it just play fighting and I should try to put antiitch and ointment on it or something worse?

Ouch, Zeus! Bumps and scabs on the ear in the absence of discharge certainly could be a result of trauma from play fighting, but they could also be an allergic response to fleas, mosquitoes, or other environmental allergens. Avoid applying any topical medications to Zeus' ear because cats are amazingly flexible in their ability to groom all parts of their bodies and ingesting any of these medications could be problematic. If the bumps persist in the next day or two, take Zeus to his vet for an exam. These lesions can sometimes become infected and require antibiotics.
