Why does my 9-month-old cat have painful white bumps on her belly?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 year and 2 months old

My cat is two white bumps that look like they could be removed from her belly. She is only 9 months old. She is an indoor cat. I just noticed them now. They are fairly small. She squirms when I try to touch them.

It is difficult to determine without actually seeing the lumps. Have your vet take a look at her. Your vet can do a needle aspirate, if needed, to diagnose and then your vet can recommend a treatment plan. She might need an antibiotic or they might need to be removed.
