My 6-month-old cat has a lump on his rib cage and is less active.

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 24 days old

I noticed my cat has a lump on the left side of his rib cage. It's not sensitive to touch tho. And his eating habits are the same, and his pee and poo are normal too. I did notice he not as active as usual. He's sleeping a lot more and before would try and run out of the front door, now he does not. Please help. He is 6 months.

It is common in cats to see abscesses due to bites and scratches from other cats. I would bring him in to your veterinarian as they can evaluate it. An antibiotic as well as cleaning and flushing the abscess may be indicated. If it is not an abscess your veterinarian can help to determine what it it by collecting a fine needle aspirate. Certainly an abscess would describe many of the things you are describing.
