Your pet needs to be seen by your veterinarian ASAP or at a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic. Vomiting can be a symptom of gastrointestinal infection, ingestion of a toxic substance, ingestion of a foreign object (piece of toy, fabric, etc.) causing an obstruction, endocrine disorders, etc. It is particularly concerning that your pet wants to drink water but is unable to keep it down. Continuously vomiting up fluids can lead to dehydration, electrolyte imbalances and low blood sugar in cats and small dogs. Do not delay seeking veterinary assistance.

Your pet may be displaying symptoms of toxicity and/or severe weakness. Your pet sounds dehydrated and should see a veterinarian asap for treatment.
