My dog's condition is worsening. How can I afford emergency vet care?

Pet's info: Dog | Papillon | Female | spayed | 22 lbs

Our dog has been throwing up for a few days now, vomit is foamy & yellowish, sometimes it's whitish, liquidy & slimy. She's got a crusty nose as well & has trouble breathing. We took her to the vet & they gave her an anti-emetic shot & meds but her condition got worse. She's throwing up & now making a hissing sound, she's breathing through her mouth. We're a lil short with money but we try to help her as much as we can afford.

Poor Molly sounds quite sick and I think she needs intensive care at the vet. I'd take her back into the vet now. If paying for a vet is an issue, you can see if your vet accepts payment plans, if there is a low cost clinic in your area, or you can apply for Care Credit online. There is also an organization called Red Rover that give grants for treatment of sick animals, and you can see if you qualify for one of their grants.     This is a medical emergency. Poor Lovely sounds extremely ill and she to see a vet immediately. You cannot leave her in this condition, she will be feeling terrible and cannot stay like this without help as it would be cruel.  The Onyx & Breezy Foundation has many programs including helping people with medical bills. They are a good resource for information.
 Brown Dog Foundation provides funding to families with a sick pet that would likely respond to treatment, but due to circumstances, there is not enough money immediately available to pay. IMOM is dedicated to insure that no companion animal has to be euthanized simply because their caretaker is financially challenged. I hope one of my resources helps you afford a vet.
