Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Female | spayed
For the past week or so I've noticed my cat has been unusually frequently licking her nose. Her nose is also consistently quite wet. Otherwise seems fine. Still playful, eating etc. Google said it could be anxiety, allergies, or an infection? I suspect she may have allergies as every now and then she develops little wounds / like a rash around her neck. She had a tooth removed a few months ago. I was just wondering if I should go straight to a vet or if there are some things I can try first

I don't think I would be overly concerned but cats do often try to tell us something with subtle behavior changes. If she had a tooth removed a few months ago it may be related to that. It could be allergies. It could be the beginning of an upper respiratory issue. I suggest you start her on a lysine supplement to help boost her immune system and monitor her. If she continues to do this licking behavior for longer than 2 weeks after starting the supplement then I think you should take her to your vet for an exam. https://worldtails.securevetsource.com/site/view/198944_HomeDelivery.pml?s=lysine&hierarchy=&sort=score%20desc Hope this helps. Best wishes!
