My tiny 4-month-old puppy has a stuffy nose. Is it allergies?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Long Coat) | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 17 days old | 3 lbs

She is 4 months old. What can I give her for allergies? She sounds like her nose is stopped up.

It is really not common for dogs to have a stopped up nose with allergies. Usually it is the opposite - the nose will run with clear liquid. If she is stopped up she probably has an upper respiratory infection which is much more serious. She really should see a vet for this tomorrow. Remember, she is a baby and only 3 pounds - she is very fragile and you should not let her be sick too long before getting her help. There are no over the counter medications you can give to a dog this small. Dosing her appropriately would be impossible. She needs to see a vet.
