Hi there. Possible causes of scrotal dermatitis in intact male dogs can include allergies, a bacterial or fungal skin infection, a systemic infection such as Brucellosis, or contact irritation from sitting on something that may have irritated the skin. The type of food you feed will not have any effect on this issue unless it is caused by a food allergy - while this is theoretically possible, it's much less likely than many of the other possible causes I listed above. I would recommend taking your dog to the vet for an exam, as a starting point. Your veterinarian may recommend doing some diagnostic testing if needed to help determine what is causing the skin issues, and will prescribe an appropriate medication to treat the problem depending on what is found.
