My dog has a brown spot in his eye. Should I worry about cancer?

He’s 4 and half yrs now and since when he was puppy I am watching this thing on his left eye. There’s something brown in the eye covering lens I think my friend told me it could be a cancer but I am much worried now after my friend told me this. I am Attaching photo of his that eye kindly check and confirm is it cancer or what problem it is because that’s there since his puppyhood

You should always have something like this checked out by your vet in person. A special ophthalmoscope is needed to check the eye. My best guess is that this is an iris (uveal) cyst. If this brown spot moves around in the eye (floating) it is probably an iris cyst. If it is stationary and does not move, then it may be a cancer. This is not something that can be diagnosed over the internet.
