Thank you for using PetCoach. If Juna has a true urinary tract infection she may need antibiotics. It is ideal to have her see a vet for diagnosis and approriate treatment. Some UTI can result from or cause bladder stones as well. This supplement may have some benefit if she just has a mild irriatation to her urinary tract https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MSLGAJF?tag=lazhnetw-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 But if her signs continue she needs to see a vet. If she is current at a vet clinic, some clinics may allow you to drop off a urine sample for analysis without requiring an exam. I hope this helps.

Hi and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I am so sorry that Sophie may have a UTI. Urinary tract infections can be very irritating and sometimes painful. If you are worried about a UTI, I would recommend seeking veterinary care to diagnose a urinary tract infection first. Your vet will perform a urinalysis on a sterile sample of urine. They will look at the urine for any bacteria. If Sophie does have a UTI and she has bacteria in her urine, antibiotics are the only way to treat UTIs. Unfortunately there are no homeopathic routes to treat a UTI. I would talk to your veterinarian though, if Sophie has recurrent UTIs there may be some homeopathic medications you can use to prevent UTIs. Sophie may also have something other than a UTI. Straining to urinate and dribbling urine could be due to not just UTIs but bladder stones or sediment. Therefore, I would take Sophie to a veterinarian as it could be something else. Good luck and I hope she feels better soon!

I'm glad that Stella is as energetic as usual, but I agree that her signs are concerning for the presence of a UTI. Unfortunately, there are no home remedies for UTIs, as these are bacterial in origin and require antibiotics for resolution. A UTI can be quite uncomfortable and progressively worsen, so it is always better to have her examined sooner rather than later. Her vet will likely want to perform a urinalysis to examine her urine for the presence of bacteria, white blood cells, protein and crystals. Other possible causes of her urinary signs include urinary crystals or bladder stones. I hope that she's on the mend soon!
