Why is my dog peeing blood and more often, even though she seems fine?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Female | unspayed | 3 years and 2 months old | 44.09 lbs

I have a 3 y/o Indian breed dog, her weight is around 20kg(44.09 lbs). I spotted blood in her urine and it is for past 2 weeks, and is at the end of the urine stream. Although there is no change is behaviour, her appetite is good, takes good sleep, plays as she usually does, but she is peeing quite often now. She pees 4-5 times a day, out of which 2 urine are good, clean and without blood, however the short ones has blood. Kindly,suggest us something,we are worried about her in this lockdown

This is a sign of a UTI or bladder stones, and it can't be left untreated. Vets are considered essential workers during this time, and you can go out to take your pet to the vet for an illness. I'd make an appointment for Simbi to be seen today. Best of luck.

I'm sorry Pebbles has been having such problems with UTIs! This is a great question. This depends. If she appears otherwise healthy and happy, eats and drinks plenty, you can wait until Monday morning. If she appears lethargic, ill or distressed, or if the urine appears very bloody, then she should be seen by a vet ASAP. Feed her wet/canned food, add water to it, and make sure she drinks a lot of water to help flush the bladder.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Chutki. She needs to see her veterinarian right away. She may have a severe urinary tract infection, bladder stones or even a bleeding disorder. If a bleeding disorder is present, the dog will typically have bruising on the belly or on the gums. Regardless, she will require treatment. I hope this information helps. Good luck!

I would recommend taking Gidget (and a sample of her urine if you can get it) in to be evaluated by your veterinarian. Blood in the urine is often indicative of a urinary tract infection and/or bladder stones. If left untreated the infection can become worse and difficult to clear up. I hope this helps. My cat is peeing blood, I think it may be because a uti not for sure just very worried
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This could certainly be a UTI. Other possibilities include urinary tract stones, feline lower urinary tract disease, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have Simba evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and possible treatment. Further diagnostics include a urinalysis, urine culture and some form of abdominal imaging such as abdominal ultrasound. Treatment would be based on findings. Good luck and have a good night!

My dog has a little blood in her pee. She has a past with getting UTIs but I wanted to see if I should take her to a vet.
I would recommend to have Sadie seen by her veterinarian. Blood in the urine is always pathological and indicates a problem. The doctor will likely check her urine for abnormalities and if this is chronic, may even recommend a urine culture or radiographs/ultrasound. Best to get her in sooner rather than later. Oh my. These symptoms are alarming and very concerning. Jojo could either have a serious cystitis (inflamed bladder), raging UTI, or even a bleeding disorder is possible here. Please take her to your local vet asap for an exam, urinalysis and immediate treatment based on her lab findings. I would recommend taking her to the ER vet if at all possible, so that she can get treated quickly before this gets any worse.

My toy poodle has peed blood in urine .
This is likely a sign of a urinary tract infection (it could be other things but this is the most likely reason), you will need to take her to the vet ASAP in order to get it checked and treated, it should resolve after a short course of antibiotics.

Why would my dog pee out blood
Hello. This could be a result of a serious bladder infection, prostatitis, urinary bladder stones, a bleeding polyp/mass or trauma. This definitely warrants a trip to your veterinarian ASAP. I'm so sorry to hear that. Bloody urine can have a number of different causes. It can be due to a problem in the urinary tract-- such as a severe urinary tract infection, bladder stones, or a bladder tumor. Those things may also cause her to urinate frequently in small amounts and/or strain to urinate (but not necessarily). It could also be a problem higher up in her urinary tract--in her ureters (tube from kidney to bladder) or in her kidneys-- again an infection, stone or tumor. The other potential cause of seeing blood in the urine is if she isn't able to form a blood clot properly. If her blood platelets or clotting factors are low or are not working correctly, bleeding can occur within the bladder (or anywhere in the body--bruising under the skin, bleeding around the gums, blood in the stool, bloody nose, blood in the eyes). This behavior can actually be a sign of a UTI or bladder stones. I'd have Monty seen by a vet for this for blood work and a urinalysis. Using these tests, the vet can diagnose if he has one of the things I mentioned above, and can treat him. I'd take him into a vet today. I hope this helps!
