Why is my dog losing hair around one eye? Allergies or other?

Hi, I posted earlier.. my dog has been losing hair around her left eye only. We took her to the vet, got a skin scrape test, and were told it was her retina.. the medication prescribed has not been helping her though. I feed her pedigree. I was thinking of buying allergy relief medication incase it’s an allergy that I’m not aware of.. but I’m not sure what to do. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 3 months old | 26 lbs

An allergy would likely cause more general symptoms instead of affecting just one area. Discuss any additional medications with your vet before given any. An e-collar (cone) should be used to prevent pawing. If current therapy is ineffective, consider a recheck with your veterinarian or veterinary ophthalmologist.
