Kitten's eye looks strange for days. Is it serious? Does he need a vet?

Hey my kitten has came in with his eye like this for the past coupe days. See pictures I need some kind of eye drops or advice it's not hurting him from what I'm aware and it's not affecting his day to day life.

This will be bothering Tiger, it appears he has an eye infection or may have injured his eye. Any eye problem has to be checked out by a vet promptly as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. Please take him into a vet today to get this diagnosed and treated. Best of luck.

Oh boy. Felix needs to see a vet ASAP if you want a chance at saving the eye. There could be an ulcer, infection, or it could be secondary to several upper respiratory viruses. The vet will do an exam and look closely at the eye to determine what treatments and pain medications are needed.

Hello, and thanks for your question on Boop by Petco. The most important thing you can do for Tiger is to have him seen by a vet. It is important to know why Tiger's eyes are painful, to make sure he is treated with the correct medication. He could have an infection, or a scratch/corneal ulcer, among other possibilities. Your vet will be able to identify the problem and make sure he is treated correctly. I do not recommend administering anything over the counter, as it is possible to do harm rather than good. My kitten who is about 2 in a half months old eye is rolled back in one of his eyes. There was some white discharge coming out of the eye. We carefully wiped it away. We now own three cats, and have never had this happen. Our local vet is closed now.
Poor Saber Tooth! He could have a severe eye infection or he could have injured his eye. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to permanent vision loss. He does need to see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. Good luck, I hope this helps!

My kitten has one eye with the third eyelid out and never goes away. The eye is also blurry. Her other eye has this weird thing inside (photo attached) Any idea what this could be?
It's probably either a foreign body in the eye, an eye injury or an eye infection, this require a vet visit as a special eye test is needed to assess the damage to the eye. the treatment will likely include one ore more prescription eye drops.

My kittens eyes looks different from others
Hello and thank you for using Boop by Petco. The eyes are infected and very inflamed. There is a protruding third eyelid in the right eye, possibly that's way the eye looks different. I suspect that there are also corneal ulcers present, which also can change the colour of eyes. Please, take the kitten to your local vets today as the eyes need to be treated right away.

So i noticed today that my male cats left eye is swollen and filled with puss. Im thinking he must have gotten in a fight with another cat and he got scratched in the eye. I think hes blind now in that eye but i cant see anything other than just puss
Poor Tiger! It sounds like he may have a corneal ulcer or very severe conjunctivitis. Eye conditions can be very painful and can quickly progress to emergencies, so Tiger should be seen by a vet right away, as an ulcer is unlikely to heal on its own. In the meantime, you can get Tiger an E-collar or "cone" to prevent him from scratching the eye and causing further trauma. I hope this helps and that all is well with Tiger!

I’ve had a kitten snuck into my house, and it took me an hour to catch him. His currently inside of a box with food and water, but his left eye is hurt. I’m unsure what to do at this point.
This is probably an upper respiratory infection. it's very common in young cats and is very contagious to other cats as well. It is treated with antibiotic eye drops/ointment and oral antibiotics for about 2 weeks. if left untreated many cats will end up blind or even die from the disease. I advise going to your vet asap to start the treatment right away.
