Can I use coconut oil for my German Shepherd's dry ear skin?

Hi, my German Sheppard has dry skin in her ears in the superior part that is open to the air. Is there something I can do to sooth this like putting coconut oil on it? (not into her ear but on the superior inside)

You can rub a tiny dab of organic coconut oil on the lesion (wear gloves in case it's ringworm) onto the lesion twice a day. Coconut oil can condition the skin and has antimicrobial properties. If the lesion is still present in 1 week or if it starts looking worse, have her examined by the veterinarian. I hope this helps.
