I have an 8 year old female Yorkie. She got a rabies shot last Friday but is yelping when we pick her up. I feel like it is her right hind leg that is bothering her. She just doesnt seem like herself

Hello. Any vaccine can cause some residual pain, so it is possible that this is what is bothering Harlie. However, it could be something totally unrelated to the vaccine, & perhaps it is best to contact your veterinarian & have her evaluated. She may have injured a joint or muscle, or even her back. Your veterinarian can try to isolate where the pain is coming from & decide if any further treatment is needed. Good luck & thanks for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
