My dog has a red purplish bump on her belly. What could it be?

I noticed my dog had a purplish red spot on her belly & it was red around the bump. The “bump” almost looks like her nipple however is in the center of her belly. It has looked a little better since yesterday. Not sure what we are to do since we have been monitoring it. The first two pictures are from yesterday & last picture is from today. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 45 lbs

Hello. I think that Hershey just had a hair follicle get infected, very similar as to what can happen with a bad acne spot. You can just clean this daily with a skin antiseptic like Hibiclens ( available at all pharmacies ) & dab a little triple antibiotic on the area. It should heal up just fine.
