My Dachshund is coughing, has green snot, bloody stool, no energy.

Dachshund has cough and lots of green shot from nose also gone off food eating very little. Not as energetic as normal still going out to do his business but noticed a little blood in his stools

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Dixie. I recommend that he sees a veterinarian today. His symptoms are worrisome. A severe respiratory tract infection can cause green nasal discharge and coughing. He could also have pneumonia. If he is unvaccinated, distemper virus infection can cause respiratory and gastrointestinal signs. The veterinarian will examine him and may make testing recommendations such as x-rays of his chest.
