My cat's face is bleeding from scratching allergies. What to do?

How can I treat my cat's allergy? He has it on his face and neck and is making himself bleed by scratching.

Poor Whiskers sounds miserable. You need to have him seen by a vet to have this treated, as the cause of his allergy has to be diagnosed so he can be treated correctly. Because he sounds so miserable, I'd have him seen by a vet today get this treated. Best of luck.

    He may have lost whiskers or possibly has developed an infection in this area due to irritation/ a cut. Either way it is likely sore, you can try bathing it for a few days but if it is deteriorating or not improving I would get it checked by the vet in case he needs antibiotics.
