Why does my dog eat from his brother's food bowl instead of his own?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | 2 years and 11 months old | 2.7 lbs

My Dallas eats from a bowl that hangs on his cage his brother has the same exact set up but when dallas is out of his cage that set wright next to his brothers, he will go to his brother bowl to eat why is that?

Hello. Dallas is sneaky, & perhaps a little bit jealous of his brother. This is a situation where Dallas thinks what is mine is mine, & what is yours is mine, too! There is nothing wrong with this other than if Dallas gets too fat, & his brother misses out. You might want to close one of the dogs in until both have eaten so that everyone gets their fair share.
