My Quaker parrot's outer eyelid is pink on one eye, what's the cause?

Hello the outer lid of my parrot eye is pink , only the left eye. What could this be? Just noticed it!!! He is a Quaker bird.

Thanks for reaching out about Mitho and including a photo. The eye appears discolored around the eye, not the conjunctiva. This is common with chronic rubbing or irritation. Caused include sinus infections (nasal sinuses in birds surround the eye), inflammation, allergies, infections and more. Any exposure to scented candles or sprays? If continues or he appears ill for other reasons, a veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. Good luck.
