My cat has otitis and is falling. Is a ruptured eardrum life-threatening?

My cat is treated for otitis,but this morning I think his eardrum is ruptured,he started to walk bad and fall down,his eyes are moving fast time to time,the vet prescribed antibiotic and eardrops and let him home with me,what can I do more,is that life treating

It would be much easier for us to help you if you could give more information. How long have you been treating him? What antibiotic is he taking and how frequently? What ear drops are you using and how much/how frequent? One ear or both ears? Please post again with more information.
