My puppy still has worms after deworming. Should I deworm her again?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 13 days old | 4 lbs

Good day! I just want to ask if we can repeat deworming our puppy this month? We already dewormed her last February. The problem is, she still has worms everytime she poops. And according to the one we used, we can repeat deworming her after 3 months. But there are still worms. Please let us know if we can repeat deworming her this month or not. Thank you so much!

If Bella is not on monthly preventive( HeartGard, Sentinel, Interceptor, etc.), then she should be dewormed every 3 months. Submit a stool sample to your veterinarian to diagnose intestinal parasites. This way, you can be sure she is getting the correct dewormer and correct dose.
