Hiya, I have recently noticed this lump on one of my dogs back paws. One day she was limping a bit which is how I noticed it, however she doesn't seem in pain. You can touch it etc and there are no signs of discomfort. I was just looking for some advice thank you very much

I'm sorry but it is very difficult for me to tell what is going on in this photo. Does it look like a soft nail coming out of the foot there? If so, that is called a cutaneous horn. All you need to do is keep it trimmed with some nail clippers. If it is an actual mass/tumor then you need to have your vet take a look at it. If you would like to post again with some closer up photos (we really can't do much enlargement of the photos) then we may be able to help you better.

It is difficult to say what is going without having the paw examined. It could be small abscess or infection originating at the nail bed. Cancerous growths in that area are rather uncommon but they do happen occasionally in older dogs. You will need to take your Evie to your local vets to examine the leg and to decide what will be the best course of action.
