Why is my cat eating less, crying, and climbing? When to see a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Female | spayed | 14 years and 1 month old | 8 lbs

My persian cat eat less than before.it was been like this for a month. And also it is ok when she sleeps but when she wakes up she meows like crying and climbs high places. Is it necessery to take her to vet’s office? What is her problem? Is it because spring months but she is spayed? Share your opinions with me please. Stay safe

Yes it is necessary to have her seen by a vet. It's very serious when a cat eats less and in a cat her age, this can be a sign of disease like kidney failure, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, or cancer. Hyperthyroidism can make a cat more vocal, which could explain the noises she is now making. Please take her into a vet today for a geriatric blood and urinalysis.
