My cat has eye gunk, is lethargic, and not eating. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old

My cat is a little over a year old. Last night we noticed he had gunk in one of his eyes and he has been laying around all day. Today has been the same. He’s not acting like himself. He’s been laying around, doesn’t want to be cuddled, barely ate and hasn’t acted normal. I haven’t noticed any change in his stool or urine.

Poor Jackson. He sounds sick and I suspect he has an eye infection causing the gunk in his eyes. Any eye problem needs to be checked out by a vet promptly, as leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I'd have him seen by a vet today to get his symptoms diagnosed and treated. I hope this helps!
