This may be a ringworm lesion. Ringworm is a highly contagious fungal infection. You need to have Tin Tin seen by a vet for this lesion. The vet can diagnose if she does have ringworm and can treat her.

That could be a ringworm patch on Tinsel. Unfortunately without seeing her in person, I can't say for certain. Don't touch it, as ringworm is highly contagious to humans as well. Have her seen by a vet on Monday who can confirm if she has ringworm and can prescribe an oral anti-fungal medication. If she does has ringworm, you will have to disinfect your home because the spores can live in it up to 18 months. I will put a link below on how to do this. That's quite a big lesion and I'm concerned in a cat Cricket's age, that could be a cancerous tumor. It's quite alarming that it's getting bigger and worse. This needs to be checked out by a vet asap. Any suspicious lumps should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the lump to get a sample of its cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. Once the cause of the lump is diagnosed, the vet can discuss treatment options if needed. In an unspayed female cat this is almost always mammary (breast) cancer. You need to find a way to get her to a vet. This is not something you can treat at home. This may be an abscess, a cyst or a tumor. You should have it examined by your veterinarian, as it is not possible to distinguish these by just looking at a photo. An abscess can usually be treated with antibiotics and/or be lanced, and a cyst can be evacuated. To identify a tumor, your vet may want to do a fine needle aspirate (he takes some material from the bump with a needle and then looks at it under the microscope) to determine whether the mass is concerning.

Hello, I have a 16 year old maine coon who is slightly overweight and has spent his life as an indoor cat. I recently noticed a small bump on the back of his neck and the hair around it was somewhat oily, as if it had been leaking some type of fluid.

Have recently found a small round cystlike growth under my cats nipple. She is coming on heat but other than that is very well. But very worried. I'm checking everyday to see if it gets bigger been 4 days now what should I do and is it serious?
In an unspayed female cat, the most worrisome possibility with any kind of growth or lump in this area is a mammary tumor - these are unfortunately very common in cats. It's also possible that it could be something less serious, such as a cyst or localized infection of some kind. Even if it doesn't seem to be getting bigger, I would still recommend taking her to the vet to have this checked as soon as you are able to - if it is a tumor, removing it while it's still small will give her the best chance of a good outcome.

Hi. It appears to be a mass that is oozing near that nipple area. This could be an infection or an actual mass. We get concerned with older female pets who have masses on the mammary glands. They can get benign masses, but they can get cancer as well. I'd get her right away to have it checked and sampled asap
