Why is my cat losing balance and falling? Should I see a vet?

My kitty Midnight seems to be losing her balance more lately. She takes a step with the front foot and with the rear foot will step to the side sometimes. When she is on the side of the tub or back of a chair this will happen and she will fall off. I was wondering what could be causing this and should I bring her back to see a Veterinarian? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed

Midnight needs to be examined. Losing the balance is never normal and can indicate many problems from a systemic infection to diabetic neuropathy to brain cancer. Have her examined today if possible. I hope this helps.
