My dog's leg lump is growing, raw, and oozing pus. Is it serious?

My 7 year old boerboel has had n lump on her leg for a while, we took her to a vet and he said it was nothing serious then a month ago it just has gotten bigger and bigger then a week ago it became raw, barely any hair left and since yesterday it went open and has puss comimg out ever since. Pet's info: Dog | Boerboel | Female | spayed | 7 years and 9 months old | 115 lbs

This looks infected. It's also possible the tumor outgrew it's blood supply and is necrotic in the center. I recommend to have Avril examined again. Have the mass aspirated and sent to a lab for testing to make sure it's not cancer. I hope this helps.
