My dog's leg lump is growing, raw, and oozing pus. Is it serious?

Pet's info: Dog | Boerboel | Female | spayed | 7 years and 9 months old | 115 lbs

My 7 year old boerboel has had n lump on her leg for a while, we took her to a vet and he said it was nothing serious then a month ago it just has gotten bigger and bigger then a week ago it became raw, barely any hair left and since yesterday it went open and has puss comimg out ever since.

This looks infected. It's also possible the tumor outgrew it's blood supply and is necrotic in the center. I recommend to have Avril examined again. Have the mass aspirated and sent to a lab for testing to make sure it's not cancer. I hope this helps.
