My cat's eye is swollen, bulging, tearing, with white goo. What to do?

Hello my cats right eye is swollen there is a Lower bulge under almost to the side of his eye. Lots of tears and a white goey substance touching the eye on the lower line. What is this and how can it be treated? Any suggestions?

Poor Leo. He could have injured his eye or have a severe eye infection. Any eye infection is an emergency because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. Please take him into a vet immediately to have this diagnosed and treated. Best of luck.

His eye does look swollen! He could have injured his eye or he could have an eye infection. The eye is such an important and delicate structure that any problem with it should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. I would take him into a vet immediately to diagnose what is causing his eye to be swollen so it can be treated.

So i noticed today that my male cats left eye is swollen and filled with puss. Im thinking he must have gotten in a fight with another cat and he got scratched in the eye. I think hes blind now in that eye but i cant see anything other than just puss
Poor Tiger! It sounds like he may have a corneal ulcer or very severe conjunctivitis. Eye conditions can be very painful and can quickly progress to emergencies, so Tiger should be seen by a vet right away, as an ulcer is unlikely to heal on its own. In the meantime, you can get Tiger an E-collar or "cone" to prevent him from scratching the eye and causing further trauma. I hope this helps and that all is well with Tiger!

My cats eye is puffy and swelled shut and has stuff leaking out of it. He won't let me touch him, it appears very sore? Is there something I can do for him here or does this require a vet visit?
I would recommend having this looked at by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. There may be a serious problem going on with the eye such as trauma (corneal ulcer, penetrating injury, etc.) and this requires immediate care. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. It could be that this poor kitty has an eye infection or she could have injured her eye. The eye is such a delicate and important structure that any problem with it is should be considered an emergency. That's because leaving it untreated can lead to vision loss. That kitten in the picture has to see a vet immediately. It looks like he could have a severe eye infection, and it's quite serious that his eyes budge out of his head. This can indicate head trauma. He really needs veterinary attention now for his best chance for survival. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. Good evening, I recently adopted a male kitten and everything has been smooth but he has devolved some kind of eye infection/ inflammation and I’m not sure what it is or if is severe.
It’s probably not severe, but I would recommend that you have Leo examined by a vet. It could be a bacterial or viral eye infection or upper respiratory infection, or a scratch on the cornea. The vet will do an examination and then can recommend appropriate diagnostics or treatment.
