That looks pretty serious. It looks suspicious for a malignant tumor (cancer). I suggest you take Winston to your vet for an exam as soon as possible. In the meantime you can soak the foot in warm Epsom salt water to help draw out some of the toxins. Just 5 minutes a couple times a day.
