What should I feed my new kitten? Dry food, wet food, or homemade?

im getting a new 45 days old cat today so i need to know what type of food can he eat and does he need dry food now ? If i feed him home food what can i feed him

Cats have very specific dietary needs, and home diets are not recommended for kittens. Kofi need a kitten food. Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, or Iams. I hope this helps!

What dry and wet food do you recommend for kittens just weaned from their mother?
I believe any high quality kitten food is good. Some of the top brands that have a lot of research to back their products is iams, science diet, and royal canin. They will likely need a little canned food at first and just let dry food out for them to start nibbling on! I hope this helps!

I've been wondering what type of food should I give Baby to keep her health good, same goes for her kittens. At the same time, I also want her and the kittens to have fluffy fur. What kind of food should I give them? Also, how do I teach the kittens
Baby should have an adult cat food, the kittens needs a kitten food. To help the kittens wean and get used to dry food, I would soak a high quality kitten formulated dry food in warm water until soft. Then mix that with kitten formula such as KMR to make a mush the consistency of oatmeal. Over the next two weeks, gradually increase the amount of dry kitten food and decrease the amount of water and KMR you use until they are eating the dry kitten food only. Brands of food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I hope this helps!

Brands I personally recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I recommend these brands because they are high quality cat foods, and they have veterinary nutritionists on staff. Having veterinary nutritionist on staff at a pet food company ensures there are experts there who know what a cat needs to be healthy and meet their nutritional needs, and formulates a food to match that. Hi there, Skye is almost 9 months old, she eats wet and dry food, Purina veterinarian diet Essential care for kitten dry food and cat in the kitchen by Weruva wet food. How much of each food should she have a day to meet the proper daily nutrition?
Each food has a different daily requirement, so I would follow the feeding instructions on the bag of food and can of wet food to see what she should be getting. Purina is a great brand of food, I would definitely keep her on that, and switch her to an adult dry food when she is a year old. What should I look for in choosing a food for my new kitten?
Kittens do the majority of their growth in the first five to six months of life but continue to grow until they are around one year old. During this time of rapid growth and maturation of their bones, it is very important to choose a complete and balanced diet with the appropriate levels of nutrients. Diets formulated for growth include those labeled for kittens or “all life stages.” Canned foods promote increased water consumption in cats, and feeding dry food exclusively or in combination with canned is also acceptable. Offering a kitten with a variety of textures early in life can be helpful in minimizing the chance of having a picky eater. Regardless of diet selection, always make diet changes gradually by mixing the old and new foods together over five to seven days and make sure to carefully measure the appropriate portions of your cat’s food. Abrupt changes have a greater likelihood of resulting in vomiting and/or diarrhea.

Some brands I like include Science Diet, Royal Canin, and Nutro. Each of these brands offers a variety of types of food in both wet and dry formulations, and some even have specific formulas for certain breeds of cat, or nutritional need. You can try slowly transitioning to a new food to see if Bella enjoys any of them. Try not to switch too rapidly as a sudden food change can cause digestive upset. If she's having a hard time eating dry food, you can also try adding a little water to soften up any kibble, and warm it up in the microwave for 2-4 seconds to make it more enticing.
