My 10-month-old bloated dog needs deworming. Are pre-dewormer meds necessary?

Is it okay for my dog to take deworm even if she's bloated ? By the way my dog has never been dewormed and she's 10 months old. When I was at a vet clinic, I've been given these meds, Metronidazole Flavet, Amoxicillin Trihydrate and some different tablets also advised me to take these meds to my dog before deworming. It cost me a lot I just want to know if these meds is needed before deworming. Thank you.
