My kitten ate seasoned wild rice with herbs. Will he be okay?

Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 10 days old | 7 lbs

Our Himalayan Kitten who is 7lbs 7oz ate about a tablespoon of Uncle Ben’s Long grain wild rice With herbs and seasonings and is 6 months old. Will it harm him? It was just made and on the table he jumped up and at about a tablespoon worth.

At worst, you may see some stomach upset (vomiting or diarrhea). Either can usually be managed at home with a short fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. Transition slowly to the regular diet afterwards. Monitor for lethargy, persistent stomach upset, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian.
