My dog is weak, trembling, vomiting, and won't eat. What can I do?

My bichon frise is trembling, weak and has vomited. What can I do to make her feel better? She is drinking but not eating.

Poor Daisie! Withhold food tonight, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, she refuses to eat the bland diet, she vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, she will need to see a vet right away. I also see that she isn't spayed. If you notice any discharge coming from her private area, take her into a vet immediately. That discharge combined with her other symptoms indicates a pyometra. A pyometra is an infection of the uterus that is fatal without treatment. I hope this helps!

Since we have been home this afternoon our pup had refused to come out of her crate, slept all afternoon and evening, refused to eat and drink, not wanting to do any normal activities, shivering, seems out of it, scared at times. She is always excite
This can be a sign that Daisy is sick. I would try to tempt her to eat by offering some boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice. If she refuses to eat that and is still acting this way in the morning, I would take her into the vet for a health check. If she starts vomiting, has diarrhea, and/or becomes very lethargic, then I would rush her into an ER vet. Best of luck.

My dog after eating today began to vomit white dense foam. I gave it proto bismal but it got votmited afret a fue minutes. This happened around 6pm now 9pm she is producing saliva and slightly shaking. She is gloomy and resting beside me.

I just asked about Nessa shivering/shaking and seeming groggy, I also forgot to mention, she vomited a little this morning also. Does this change the urgency of her possible condition??

My dog is very lethargic, trembling, and wont eat or drink
I’m sorry to hear that Daisy isn’t feeling well. Please seek emergency care if: -she won’t get up and walk to you when you call her - she collapsed when she tries to get up -feel her heartbeat. If it’s over 150 beats per minute when she’s just lying there, she should be seen. -is she vomits large amongs of fluid or blood or passes large amounts of watery diarrhea or blood - If she’s having any trouble breathing. If none of the above apply, offer her some boiled chicken and white rice, and make sure she’s in a warm, safe location. If she’s not better in the morning, take her to your vet. Poor Bailey! If she has only vomited once you can pick up her food and try offering a bland meal of boiled rice and chicken in a few hours to see if she'll eat, as this can help settle her stomach if there is a minor cause of GI upset. If she won't eat anything at all, continues to vomit, is extremely lethargic right now, or her gums appear pale or blue, then this is a sign something more serious may be ongoing and she needs to be seen by a vet right away. I have a dog she's 9 she had been vomiting white coloration fluid and her appetite has been poor. She's keeping herself isolated and mostly around cool places around the house. Please let me know what can be done asap
You could withhold food for the day and then try a bland diet, like boiled chicken and white rice, if the vomiting stops. If it continues or she becomes lethargic, then she needs to be examined by a veterinarian determine the exact cause and treat her problem. She could have an infection, parasite, kidney/liver disease, endocrine disease, pancreatitis, obstruction, etc. You vet can run lab work and take an x-ray, if needed, to help diagnose and prescribe medications to help control the vomiting and prevent dehydration.
