My Boykin has had a loose stool for 3 weeks. He’s acts fine. Should I be concerned?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Tebow. Yes, it is not normal for a dog to have diarrhea for three weeks. It is good that he is still acting normal, but I worry that he will become dehydrated from losing excess fluid in the stool. The veterinarian will examine him and likely recommend some testing such as fecal tests and possibly bloodwork. Based on these results, treatment can be started to help him feel better.
