My dog has an apparent pimple on the tip of his penis. Should I use a warm compression or let nature deal with it?

This location is a little unusual for a pustule like this - if it isn't bothering your dog I think you could probably monitor for a few weeks and warm compress probably would not hurt. If your dog is licking or seems uncomfortable, or if you've noticed a change in urination, I'd recommend seeing a veterinarian.
