What are those skin tag-like bumps on my dog's mouth? Are they normal?

I agree that it looks like a skin tag. Around the mouth is a common place to see them, and they usually do grow a little bit, but not usually very much. I think it is most likely a benign skin tag but the only way to know for sure would be to remove it and send it out for biopsy. If it changes dramatically then I would recommend this. No need to worry too much yet. In such a young dog it is highly improbable that anything too terrible is wrong. In all honestly, it is very hard to make a diagnosis of dermatologic issues without actually feel the lesion, and / or collecting some diagnostic samples. At first glance, they look like eosinophilic plaques (otherwise known as rodent ulcers), which are actually much more commonly seen in cats. Since you are seeing these lesions on both sides of the mouth, it's also possible that this is something anomalous but normal in your dog. Another possibility is that your pup could have bit onto something that cause some irritation, and it is now causing something wrong symmetrically. If the areas aren't getting large and are not bothering your dog, my advise would be to leave things alone for the time being to see if there is any change. However, it wouldn't be wrong to take your dog to the vet now to have him checked over. Hope this makes sense!

These look like benign papillomas (warts). They are very common in young dogs and generally don't cause pain but can be severe in some cases. They are also very common in young dogs and are caused by a virus. They are self-limiting which means they generally go away on their own within 1-2 months without any specific treatment. Sometimes they do require cryotherapy for removal in those severe cases, which in this case it doesn't appear to be the case. These look like areas of inflammation, if they persist longer than 3 weeks I would recommend getting them checked by your vet who may want to take scrapings or biopsies to rule out any sinister causes

It is hard to say for sure by just these pictures but they look like skin tags. If they are hard, growing, bleeding or bothering him, I would have him seen by your vet. Otherwise, you could just watch them for any change. I hope this helps!

These are likely oral warts, canine oral papillomas. These are small, benign tumors of the mouth caused by the papilloma virus which typically develop on the lips, tongue, throat or gums. These are caused by a virus. Typically, it takes 1-5 months for papillomas to regress without treatment. Should they grow very big or start to bleed, they can be surgically removed or frozen off. You will need to schedule an appointment with your veterinarian for an exam to rule out other tumors or infections.

It's still a little hard to see these things well, but I did not say they look normal. They could be thickening from chronic inflammation, something like a wart or something more worrisome. A vet should take a look at those and check then further.

It is difficult to know without seeing the lesion. The best thing would be to have your vet take a look at it to determine if treatment is needed. It could be an infection, cyst, papilloma, skin tag, or a mass. Your vet can do a needle aspirate, if needed, to help diagnose and then determine the best way to treat. It may need to be removed.

This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. It's not really common for dogs to get cold sores the way that people do, but there are lots of things that could cause a bump like this - it could be an insect bite or local inflammatory reaction, a papilloma or wart, a localized bacterial infection, or even a skin tumor of some kind. If the bump appeared recently and your dog is acting normal otherwise, you could monitor it for the next week or two to see if it goes away on its own. If it doesn't, or if it becomes painful or itchy it seems to be growing, then I would recommend having it checked by a vet - he/she can do a simple test called a fine needle aspirate to find out what it is.
