Mimi's stomach might still look big from the uterus being enlarged - it can take a little while for it to look normal again. If Mimi seems to be pushing still, if she seems uncomfortable or if you can feel a kitten moving in her belly then there would be more concern. I'm wondering if emergency veterinary services might still be available - you may want to try contacting your local health department to see. Unfortunately there's nothing I could recommend trying at home if there is a kitten still inside.

This is not normal, after birth theme belly should feel soft and empty. Once the birth tract has been open and waters broken, severe infection is a real risk and kittens should be removed as soon as possible. There is no method of inducing labour at home. I recommend you take her to your nearest clinic to determine what is causing the bulge you are feeling and to advise on most appropriate treatment before she develops complications

It is possible. Sometimes kittens will take long breaks up to 12 hours between kittens without it being problematic. If she starts to seem distressed or painful, take her to the vet for an xray to see if more are there. If she seems to be doing well, and is caring for the kitties she has, and is eating and resting comfortably I don't think you need to be concerned. The uterus remains enlarged even once empty, and it takes time for that to contract back down. Thanks for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
