My kitten is hungry and has soft stools. Can I give him kitten milk?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 3 months and 3 days old

My Maine Coon kitten is 13 weeks old & ive only had him for 4 days! His stool is quite soft so I’m giving a powder to rectify this on his wet food. Would it be ok to also give him kitten milk as he is very hungry & wild to feed? Or would this make his stools worse? He keeps suckling on me for ages, looking for a feed?!

I do not recommend giving kitten milk - it's actually not as complete & balanced as kitten food, so since Fury is weaned it's best to stick with kitten food. Also, any changes in diet can lead to diarrhea so it's best to avoid adding more changes to Fury's diet.
