My cat had a difficult birth and only one kitten. Is she okay?

Hey..My cat was pregnant...about one day ago her labour start and after 3 hours of struggle she was unable to gave birth.Babies two legs and tail can be seen but face and other parts were not coming out..My mother helped her to deliver her baby but all in vain..Her baby was died...I don’t know either it was died before or during the delivery. She only deliver one baby one day ago and didn’t deliver any other child is she alright...I’m so scared for her

Hello. I am so sorry you lost the kitten. For the sake of your mother cat, you need to have her evaluated by a veterinarian to make sure there are no more kittens inside her. She obviously is unable to deliver kittens on her own, so she will need help if there any others to come. I hope you can have her evaluated soon.     Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Rose! Cats can delay labor for up to 24 hours. I am worried though that one kitten was already dead. Can you feel if the ones inside are still moving? If she doesn't deliver another kitten with in 24 hours she should see a vet and be evaluated for a possible C-section.
