Is Black Forest ham safe for my cat to eat as an occasional treat?

Hi,my cat is 10 yrs old and she got a hold of some Black Forest ham and ate it and loved it. Can she have that as a treat once in awhile or is it bad for her? She ate about 4 small pieces and she didn’t get sick. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 13 lbs

Ham is very fatty so I don't recommend to give it in general. Fatty foods can cause GI upset and there is a potential it can trigger pancreatitis (though this is not proven in cats). I recommend to stick with chicken or turkey. I hope this helps.
