Why did my dog die after escaping, vomiting blood, and not eating?

I have been wondering why my dog passed (these monday) away so he escaped and when he came back he would not eat and he tree up blood and then died what could have happened. Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 28 days old | 35 lbs

My condolences on the loss of Gordo. Sadly, without a post mortem exam, the cause of death may never be known. Given the symptoms, it is possible he ate something that may have been toxic or caused internal injuries. Trauma cannot be ruled out either.
