How to stop my 4-year-old German Shepherd from pooping inside nightly?

My dog poops in the house almost every night. We change his feeding schedule we try a lot of things. We usually let him out for a while and when he comes back inside. My dad get really mad at him and I don’t know what to do, He is a German Shepard he is 4 years old. We thing he came from bad owners. Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | neutered | 60 lbs
