My cat vomited, stopped, but is still very tired. What's wrong?

My cat vomited a couple of times after eating. He has since been lying around and not responding like normal. He vomited a couple of times, about 4 or 5 hours ago. Since then no more vomiting but he is still not himself. He lifts his head and turns around but seems very tired. Im worried, I am in South Africa and we just went into Lockdown 20 minutes ago. So i wont be able to find a vet in the morning. His gums is pink. Not bright but pink. Please give me advice

Poor Koert! There will be vets seeing animals for emergencies. My country is in lock down as well (New Zealand) but we vets are essential services and are seeing emergencies. I can give you a home remedy first to see if that helps him. Withhold food tonight, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he refuses to eat the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

Female cat is suddenly sick. Vomiting, not eating, lethargy.
These signs could be just dietary related or compatible with a gastrointestinal inflammation/infection. I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken (or white fish) and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice diarrhoea, more vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. My cat only eats a lil bit and throws up
Poor Kitty Kat sounds ill! It could be that he is suffering from a GI illness, foreign body, pancreatitis, or eating something rotten causing his symptoms. If he's been vomiting for less than 24 hours, I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the vomiting continues in the absence of food, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. My cat has been vomiting for about 18 hours now. She has energy isn't lethargic. But can't keep anything I give her down. She's using the restroom like usual and otherwise appears fine. Is there anything I can do?
Withhold all food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. No more than a tablespoon or two at a time. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts waiting at least one hour between feedings. Once the vomiting stops, transition slowly to Bell's regular diet. Monitor for lethargy, loss of appetite, diarrhea or abdominal pain. See your veterinarian if the vomiting does not resolve or if she develops other symptoms.

My 2 year old cat keeps throwing up small amounts my vet is closed
Poor guy. If he has vomited more than a few times within an hour and seems unstable (lethargic, weak, non-responsive), then this is considered an emergency and he should go to any available vet or ER vet today. However, if he is still active, nice pink gums, and responsive, you can monitor him to see if the vomiting subsides. You should also fast him (not food, only water) for at least 12 hrs, then try offering him a bland diet of tuna and white rice or lean ground turkey and white rice to see if you can help settle his stomach. Hopefully he turns around and just ate something that upset his stomach a bit. I hope that Mitch recovers soon from his apparent stomach upset. Best of luck moving forward. Take care. : )

My cat has had diarrhea for a few days. He has no other symptoms. He is active and playing. No vomiting. No lethargy. Does not seem to be in pain. He has not had a change in diet. Seems to be well hyrdrated. I do have a vet appointment for him next
